Police Act 1972 (repealed 22.8.1996) (1972 c. 39)

1 Amendment of s. 44 of Police Act 1964.

(1) Section 44 of the Police Act 1964 (Police Federations) shall be amended as follows.

(2) In subsection (2) after the words “of, and” there shall be inserted the words “subject to subsection (2A) of this section”.

(3) After subsection (2) there shall be inserted the following subsection:—

2 Short title.

This Act may be cited as the Police Act 1972.
