Certain Pay Increases Unaffected by Repeal

Pub. L. 116–283, div. G, title LVXXXV [LXXXV], § 8512(b)(2), Jan. 1, 2021, 134 Stat. 4760, provided that: “Notwithstanding the repeals made under paragraphs (10) and (11) of subsection (a) [repealing this section and section 763a–1 of this title], any pay increases made under chapter 788 of the Act of October 29, 1949 [former 33 U.S.C. 763–1], and chapter 524 of the Act of July 9, 1956 [former 33 U.S.C. 763–2], as in effect prior to their repeal shall remain in effect.”
